We've come a long way since September 2004

The District now has a Class A Fire Engine at each of our four stations.  One older engine has been placed in "reserve" status as required by the Survey and Rating Bureau.

The additional Tender provides the District with a total of two water tenders.  This allows for at least one tender to be in service at all times during routine maintenance or mechanical downtime.  The older tender will eventually be housed at the Summit Lake station

Utility Pickup

New Rescue 91

The utility pickup provides needed towing capacity for our wilderness rescue trailer.  The fuel tanks provides remote fueling.   This capacity was proven invaluable during the recent windstorm and power outages.

Rescue 91 carries specialized rescue equipment which includes rope rescue equipment.  The apparatus is also equipped with a system to refill firefighter's breathing apparatus while at the scene.
