Business Operations Director - OPEN August 3

Black Lake Fire Department is looking for an experienced, confidence, professional with a collaborative leadership style that can build effective working relationships with commissioners, staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders to serve as the Business Operations Director for the fire district. 

Under the direction of the Fire Chief, the Business Operations Director plans, manages, and performs the Fire District’s business, financial, and human resources functions. Operating with limited supervision and broad decision-making authority, this position oversees assigned personnel and Administrative and Finance Division, including budgeting, financial management, payroll, human resources, risk management, and asset tracking. 

The position is an integral part of the McLane Black Lake Fire Department's Administrative Team - consisting of the Fire Chief, Assistant Chief of Operations, Division Chief of Logistics and Administrative Assistant.

Volunteers - OPEN August 3

We are seeking applications to fill 5-7 VolunteerFirefighter/EMT positions.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age at the time of initial training.
• High School Diploma or GED at the time of initial training.
• Valid Driver’s License (WA license required by first day of employment)

Application Process:

To advance to an interview, all candidates must complete the following:

• Application completed and signed
• Successfully pass a basic knowledge written test with an 80%
• Successfully pass CPAT physical agility test or have an existing document within 6 months of 6/5/2026
