Please welcome our newest recruit, Tristan Schmekel. He is from Twisp, WA and he currently lives in Ellensburg with plans to move closer to the district. Tristan started his career in the fire service two years ago in Snohomish County. In his off time he loves to hike and hang out with friends, and when there's snow on the ground he likes to downhill ski. 

He is attending the Washington State Fire Academy at North Bend that started August 5, 2026.
